When Nestle wanted to reboot the beloved Milkybar Kid they called on our Director Summer Agnew to bring this sci-fi extravaganza to life, twice! Nationwide cast searches in both Australia and New Zealand meant the commercial for each territory had to feature different lead talent who would be filmed weeks apart. To facilitate this within budget, Summer designed an approach that made it possible to film the two leads separately - a boy Milkybar Kid for Australia and a girl Milkybar kid for Aotearoa - and then seamlessly splice them into the same on-set footage. Doubling bang for buck.
